1906 cross-stitched cat, finished




 Here it is ...
I stitched the rest of the pattern   in black so that the cat would stand out from the border .. I also used only one strand as I feared that using two strands solid black would look a bit too "heavy", this way it's rather light. I think it doesn't demonstrates the 107 years of age this pattern has!
Now I have to stitch the dog  and then finish them into  a scissor fob or a needle case...

Ho ricamato il resto del motivo in nero, in modo che il gatto risaltasse rispetto al bordo...Ho anche usato un solo filo perche' temevo che il nero a due fili risultasse troppo compatto e quindi un po' "pesante", in questo modo e' piu' leggero.
Penso che questo schema non dimostri i 107 anni di eta' che ha!
Adesso mi manca da ricamare il cane e poi usarli per realizzare un ornamento  o un porta-aghi...
